Get Your Carpool Ready For School

As you get your kids ready for the school year, it's time to start planning your carpool. When you get organized early in the year, you will avoid problems and get the kids to school on time. With the other parents, map out a route and design a schedule for pick up and drop-offs that works for everyone.

In order to communicate effectively, use a group chat or email list to keep everyone on the same page. If an emergency comes up, each parent will have the ability to reach out to the group if they aren't able to pick everyone up.

Get your car ready for the carpool by making sure you have the right seating for all of your passengers. Remember that children younger than 13 should not be sitting in the front passenger seat. You may need a few booster seats to keep everyone in your car safe.
