All ages 14+ are welcome to attend.

Our next Car Care Classes that are open to the public will be in Sept or Oct.


Car Care Class 101:

  1. Date: September 28, 2026
  2. Time: 5:30 - 7:00 pm
  3. Taught by Jackson Maeder and Andrew Smith
  4. Great for ages 14+
  5. Topics include: learning basics of maintenance, checking fluids, changing tires, identifying the parts of your vehicle, how to jump start your car.


Advanced Car Care Class 102:

  1. Date: October 15, 2026.
  2. 5:30 - 7:00 pm
  3. Taught by Jackson Maeder and Andrew Smith
  4. Great for people ages 16+ who want to learn some advanced skills or who have already taken class 101.
  5. Topics include: how to change your oil yourself, how to change your air filter, and a refresher on changing tires.
  6. Note this is an advanced class with more hands on learning.


Hands on experience for all skill levels such as: checking oil, changing tires, etc. Please wear comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes to participate.

*If you have a student who is ready for Drivers Ed, consider Safe Driver Drivers Ed. This class participates in our special Driver's Ed course - a 2 hour class specifically for students! We also work with the area Home School Associations and have classes / field trips.

Car Care Awareness Class: Meet your Instructor

Jackson Maeder

Jackson Maeder is an automotive enthusiast and technician with a passion for vehicle repair and restoration. From an early age, he developed a fascination with how vehicles work.

Jackson developed his expertise by attending Lincoln College of Technology. He started his career as an express technician and worked his way up through the ranks, eventually earning the title of Senior Master Technician. He now works at Cassill Motors as the Shop Foreman.

For Jackson, automotive work is more than just a profession—it’s a passion. In his free time, he enjoys repairing and restoring classic cars and trucks, bringing older vehicles back to life and preserving the craftsmanship of past generations.
