How to Decide Which Truck Cab is Right for You

If you’re in the market for a new truck, it’s important to be familiar with the different sizes and styles of truck cabs that are available to you. The personnel at Cassill Motors in Cedar Rapids, IA are experts in all things related to trucks, and we’ll gladly provide you with more information and a personal test drive of the truck of your choice today.

A regular or standard cab contains a single row of seating and room for two or three people. Trucks with standard cabs provide maximum bed space for carrying cargo. A super, quad or extended cab has a full-size front seat and a rear seat that is generally smaller. The rear seat is accessed by a smaller set of doors that don’t operate independently of the front doors.

Full-size four-door cabs, the next size cab that’s available, may also be referred to as extended cabs or as crew or double cabs. A few truck manufacturers also offer even larger cabs that are commonly called mega or crewmax cabs.
